Aidan at 15 Months!

Okay, so this post is a little overdue, but since we were gone all last week, I'm just now getting around to it! I took Aidan in for his 15 month check up on Wednesday morning right before we left for St. George. The few days before that he'd been running a fever and hadn't been feeling good at all or sleeping well! It turned out that my poor little guy had a really bad ear infection. I'm SO glad that I had that appointment set up for before we left otherwise it would have been a miserable trip for all of us. She put him on a pretty hefty dose of antibiotics to clear it up and he's been a totally different person ever since. He's back to his happy self again...how I missed it! Aidan weighed in at a a whopping 21 lbs 7 oz. and is 30 inches long. So his head and height are in the 50th percentile. His weight on the other hand is barely in the 10th percentile. It's so completely opposite from what Halle was at this age. She weighed 21 lbs before she was one. But he's healthy and doing so well that it doesn't matter.

Aidan loves his blanky. You rarely see him without it, he carries it everywhere he goes and it gets so dirty. Washing it becomes tricky. I usually try and do it after his nap so that its washed and dryed before his next nap or bed time. One of my friends' little boy took his blanket with him in the bath, luckily Aidan hasn't thought of that yet!

Aidan loves playing with Halle. He always wakes up before her and so I rush in to get him out of his crib before he wakes her up. I have to close the door tight otherwise he goes in and stands next to her bed and yells at her until she wakes up. She gets mad and says "Aidan, I'm trying to sleep!" He just laughs!

When Aidan was a baby, he was not a cuddly baby at all! Now he loves to come and sit on my lap and snuggle or just sit there for a while (with his blanket of course!). He's very much a mama's boy...which will definitely make things interesting when we have another baby in 3 months! He is such a joy to have around and is always making us laugh out loud!
