We took advantage of the very warm weather by spending time at the pool. I've quickly realized that Halle would spend 24 hours at the pool if we let her, she must be part fish! She loved swimming with Tucker...since he actually swims with her, and also with Grandma and Grandpa.

On Thursday night the girls drove to Cedar City and met up with some of our cousins at the Shakespeare Festival. We went to dinner and then saw the play, 12th Night. It was outside in the amphitheater and it was perfect weather. It was lots of fun!

On Friday the boys (except Tucker who was sick) went golfing and that night we had a High School Musical 2 party. Unfortunately we were getting the Las Vegas cable feed so it didn't start until 9PM. Halle stayed up for about half of it but then got too tired to finish! I felt so bad cause she has been counting down the days to watch it. We even bought the soundtrack for her to listen to on the drive down.

On Saturday morning we got up and headed up to Zions National Park. We took the shuttle up the canyon and chose one of the easier hikes. It was really pretty and not too hot thanks to some big fluffy clouds and lots of shade. I wouldn't recommend hiking at 8 months pregnant but it wasn't too bad and we all had a good time.

On Sunday we took a quick trip over to see the St. George temple. My great-great-great grandpa was the architect for this temple. It was cool to hear the history behind it. Tucker was just getting back his energy and it was pretty hot so we didn't stay long.

There was a major 14 car accident yesterday that shut 1-15 down for 10 hours so we had to take a little detour through Richfield and Salina, but we finally made it home. Thank heavens for portable DVD players! How did our parents survive road trips without them!?! Hopefully we're all over the yucky sickness stuff and we can enjoy the last couple weeks of our summer!

Sounds like a fun vacation- & you look adorable, not huge. We got stuck behind that crazy accident too, that was quite the detour.
Glad you guys had a fun time. You look adorable pregnant! I'm super impressed that you swim and hike and do all you do at 8 months. Your family is so cute. I love the picture of you and the girls at the Shakespeare Festival.
